Hello Patients!
We are excited to announce that we will begin seeing patients again as of Monday May 4th. We have missed you guys so much and are really looking forward to getting back to the business of creating beautiful smiles.
As I’m sure you could guess, things will not be “normal” immediately. I have been spending my time recently, researching the safest and best protocols not only for our team but, for you, the patients, and families.
The new protocol will include a text a day before the appointment from Richter Orthodontics, asking specific screening questions. Please answer those to expedite the process. The day of the appointment please check in by texting 970-500-5928 upon your arrival. When we are ready for you, we will text back asking for the patient only to come into the office. At our front door one of our assistants will confirm the screening questions, take the patient’s temperature and seat them directly in the clinic chair.
We are opening in 3 phases. The first is to see patients and provide procedures that are relatively low risk. Therefore, we cannot remove braces in this phase. We will be seeing fewer patients a day than we typically do, providing service in only 4 rooms. This allows for easier social distancing. As the CDC, CDA and AAO evaluate the first phase, we will add procedures in the next phase.
