Dr. Ingrid de la Torre grew up in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 2009. She attended Florida International University from 2011-2013, where she earned her annual spot on the Dean’s List and graduated cum laude with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then went on to maintain her spot on the Dean’s List at the University of Florida from 2013-2017 while she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
While in school, Dr. de la Torre participated in the Hispanic Hearts Dental Clinic, where she was given the opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care to underserved migrant patients. In 2016 she was awarded the Apuela Social Service award for her participation in an Ecuador mission trip and the Alachua Service award for her service in the Migrant Health Fair.
She has also completed mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Guatemala to provide dental care to residents. Dr. de la Torre then moved to the beautiful state of Colorado, where she attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, earned her degree in orthodontics, and graduated in February 2020.
Dr. de la Torre’s unique blend of experiences makes her an excellent orthodontic provider. She is fluent in Spanish as well, which helps to serve our Spanish-speaking patients. Her desire to constantly learn and improve, combined with her friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible attitude, makes our patients feel right at home.
In her free time, Dr. de la Torre and her husband, Alejandro, enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with their son, Henry. The couple is expecting a baby girl in August.
